Stay in Front With your Virtual Tour Business

If you want to successfully market your virtual tour business, it’s essential to take a broad view of marketing. You can launch a few campaigns here and there to get the word out about your virtual tour services—but if you’ve done this, you may have noticed a few spikes in business with no real, lasting effects.

The key to a thriving and profitable virtual tour business is to stay in front…of your customers, that is. Good marketing strategies increase your overall visibility and help your potential customers remember you when they decide to have a virtual tour created. An average customer will have seen your virtual tour business mentioned 3 to 7 times before they actually commit to a purchase.

Visibility and word of mouth
Another benefit to staying constantly in front of your customers is the additional business you can gain through repeat buyers and referrals. Continual marketing lets you build up the “know, like, and trust” factor for your virtual tour services. As customers get to know and experience your virtual tour business, they will not only come back for more—they’ll tell their friends, associates, and colleagues about you.

People are much more likely to make purchases from businesses that their friends recommend. Referrals through continued visibility are a highly effective strategy for your virtual tour company.

Methods for achieving top-of-mind with customers
How can you continually market your virtual tour services? There are many online methods you can turn to that help you generate higher visibility and (gently) remind potential customers that your business exists. Some of them include:

•    Social media: Maintaining at least one active social media channel gives your customers a place where they can always touch base with you, and find out what you’re up to with your virtual tour business.
•    Content sharing: This strategy goes hand-in-hand with social media. Rather than constantly plugging your business, provide your viewers with valuable content such as articles or videos through your social channel and website. This will keep them returning and help them remember your business when they make a buying decision.

•    Following up: When customers contact you via phone or email, it’s essential to follow up with them right away. InsideSales.com reports that up to 50% of consumers buy from the companies that get back to them first—so simply returning your messages can help you stay visible and position you as the best choice for virtual tour services.

•    Email lists: Building an opt-in email marketing list will also help you remain top of mind. You can include the types of valuable content you would share on social media, and send out regular newsletters or short-form messages to stay in touch with your customers and leads.

Continuous marketing is a powerful strategy for growing your virtual tour business. What are you doing to stay in front of your customers?

The Non-Compete & Competition Comparison Chart

Spring has sprung and RockPointeMarketing.com has a very special virtual tour company marketing piece that’s sure to put a bounce in your sales pitch. With the polar ice caps melting to the North (literally), and the grass greening up around the country, local business owners are sure to be ready for you to entice them with a Fusion virtual tour presentation.

Real estate professionals are listing and selling more inventory than we’ve seen in six to seven years.  The time for you to make your move is NOW, and we’ve got just what you need this month for your virtual tour marketing and photographer hiring needs.

First up we have a document that helps establish a visual comparison between you and your top competitor.  With this colorful and customizable one-page flyer you can confidently walk into any business (after just a few minutes of editing) and lay down the differences between you and your local competition.  This document comes pre-made for you as a comparison between your powerful Fusion virtual tours and a basic Google business virtual tour.  Customize it anyway you like and have fun handing it out!

Use the piece for real estate to distinguish between your services and those of anyone else in your market.  Feel free to add or remove rows  / columns as you see fit based on any special services that you offer that may not be listed on the document.

As a second piece, we’ve created for you a boiler plate NON-Compete form that you may use for your virtual tour company. The document was created by an attorney can now be found under the resources section in www.RockPointeMarketing.com Here’s a great way for you to feel secure knowing that you’re not just training your future competition.  Make sure you take notice of the Payment section as this is very important in making the agreement legal and binding.
Login now to snag these two pieces and have a great time out there marketing and hiring your next virtual tour coordinator / photographer for your virtual tour business.

Thanks for your continued support.

Cheers!

New From Rock Pointe Marketing Center

This month we’ll revisit a few of our older virtual tour marketing pieces and give them a nice facelift.  These three pieces were originally made for our Tour Builder 4.0 virtual tour software platform but we’ve revamped them with a new look and feel along with updated information pertaining to RTV’s advanced Fusion virtual tour system.

We think you’ll enjoy sending out the two flyers and postcards this Winter to keep your brand ‘front and center’ in your customers eyes.  Remember that if you have not done a virtual tour for a customer in three months you should send out a postcard, direct email, make a phone call, or plan a visit to their office to say hello. If you have not done business with anyone in over a year they’re most likely not a customer anymore.

We cant stress enough the importance of your continual marketing plan.  Do you have one?  Remember that you’ll need Microsoft Publisher to customize and edit these three marketing pieces.

As a reminder please keep your eyes open for this month’s webinar lineup and from the RTV marketing team we sincerely thank you for your business.

Let’s have a great 2014!

Got a Virtual Tour Business Website?

http://www.360TourDesigns.com

As a virtual tour provider, you need a great-looking website that promotes your virtual tour services and showcases your stunning 360 virtual tours. But you don’t have to spend a fortune on a fantastic website. These three website builders are free—and you’ll get tons of features and functionality along with an amazing look.

WordPress –
The most popular free website platform around, WordPress.com makes it super easy to create a virtual tour website. There are thousands upon thousands of templates to choose from—many of them with eye-popping photo and video sliders that place the focus on your virtual tours.

Plugins are another great feature with WordPress. You can find a plugin for just about any feature you want on your website, and most of them are free, too. It’s easy to set up, add content and pages, personalize layouts, add links, and more with WordPress. You can even get a private domain name with a free WordPress website for $25 per year.

Wix –
Originally designed as a Flash-based website builder, Wix offers hundreds of stunning templates with the majority now in HTML5—which makes your website mobile-responsive. But this platform has preserved its original intent, with the majority of its themes designed for creative content like video, photography, fashion, food, and journalism making it a nice fit for virtual tour operations!

An easy interface with drag-and-drop and click-to-edit makes Wix websites a breeze to set up. There’s also plenty of free content you can add, and 24/7 technical support available. A private domain name with Wix costs just $14.95 per year.

Weebly –
A simple, powerful, and free site creator, Weebly lets you choose from hundreds of modern, unique themes that are fully customizable. Built-in SEO and analytics help you bring more traffic to your website, and you can display videos in HD format to maximize the impact of your virtual tours.

While Weebly doesn’t offer hosted domains, you can use the free website builder with a domain name you’ve purchased from a web hosting company (for example, GoDaddy.com, with prices starting at $1 per month).

RTV Virtual Tour Company Websites
If you want the least amount of work on your end and would like something custom made for you RTV offers a very easy to use ready to go out of the box virtual tour company site.  Check out some of the templates, pick your colors, fonts and a few days later your site will be completely ready to roll.  From there you’ll only be paying $25.00 per month with no commitment as they operate on a month to month basis.
