All play and no work on the Alabama Gulf?

All play and no work on the Alabama Gulf?

We spent the month of December 2011 in Orange Beach, Alabama. We worked extensively in November to promote sales leads. How?

First, we scoured paper advertising from our previous visits to The Gulf. NE Mississipi Virtual tours has completed several condo rental virtual tours as well as several restaurant virtual tours in that area. Those 360 tours, as well as some local Mississippi virtual tours, offered good examples to email to prospective clients. We know that no one wants unsolicited email so we always call the client first to request permission to send them an email.

After sending out tour examples, we made follow-up calls to set-up appointments. Once we had gotten to The Gulf, we also cold-called the restaurants we had contacted as well as additional restaurants. Voila! We did the following this trip:

(Big Daddy’s, Fairhope, Al., a quaint town) We were pleasantly surprised that Big Daddy’s contacted us after seeing our work and ordered a tour before we had even met with them.

(DeSoto’s Seafood Kitchen, Gulf Shores, Al.,an award-winning restaurant)

So, you can play and work while enjoying time away from home. Our next blitz? Bed & Breakfast Inns!
