Hello. My name is Mark Jones and “I REACT.”

I spent the first six months of 2009 riddled with anxiety and fear over what I was going to do. I was laid off from my employer and like many people – I had responsibilities (mortgage, bills, four children, etc.).
Soon, the weather warmed up and I calmed down as I tried to enjoy the “time off” and the time with my boys. Fast forward to 2010 and I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. In a year’s time I had sent out 35 resumes, been on 19 interviews, narrowed down to the final 2 or 3 candidates on 9 of them… and still no J-O-B.

I have spent the last 10 years in advertising and marketing. I am a former radio disc jockey. I’m a mobile disc jockey, and I’m a photographer. I was beginning to think I lost my ability to close, but I soon realized I was going up against people with Master’s degrees that were in the same boat as me and I was at the a disadvantage. With the last unemployment check looming I had to make a decision. I had to react and it was now or never.
