How to use RTV, Inc Virtual Reality (VR) Software

Here's how our VR Software utilizes what we call
AUTOMATIC STITCHING
To begin stitching with our VR Software you will need to create a stitching project and configure the project for your camera. This will show you how simple it is to create and configure your panorama stitching project, as well as how to stitch your pictures together to make a flash panorama or our system or a QTVR.
It will be important to save your panorama stitch project in our VR Software once you have created and configured it so that you don’t have to go through the configuration process again. It is a good idea to save your configured stitch project some place that you can easily find it like your computer’s desktop for example.
CREATING A STITCH PROJECT IN THE VR SOFTWARE

First open the VR Software. With the software open, click on the new project icon at the left edge of the tool bar to create a new project.

When the project type selection window opens it will default to panorama stitching. Click OK in the lower left corner.

Another box will appear asking if you want to stitch in a row or a column. Make sure that the option for single row is selected and then click OK.
CONFIGURE THE RTV VR SOFTWARE
Before you begin you will need to configure the VR Software for your camera. Begin by clicking on tab #4-Select a Lens Definition, on the project window. Here you will need to enter in your lens definition parameters for your camera and lens combination.
Contact the Setup Department to get the lens definition settings for your camera and lens combination.
To enter the settings for your camera and lens into our VR Software and you're done! It's really that simple!
