International MLS
What exactly is an International Multiple Listing Service (IMLS)? An International MLS is a database which allows real estate brokers as well as people from all corners of the World to widely share information about properties with real estate brokers who may represent potential buyers or wish to cooperate with a seller's broker in finding a buyer for the property.
At RTV, INC, we have over the last eleven years literally created the World's largest International MLS system ever imagined. Our International MLS system will not be limited to just showcasing virtual tours in the United States and Canada but will allow for all virtual tours that are being published in our system to be queried.
The purpose of our International MLS initiative is to enable the efficient distribution of information so that, when a real estate agent is introduced to a potential home buyer, may search the RTV International MLS system and retrieve information about all homes for sale in a given area or price range, whether under a listing contract by that agent's brokerage or by all participating brokers.

The economic changes seem to be effecting everyone I know, but the good news is that my Denver Virtual Tour and Architectural photography company, Denver Image Productions is off and running with great successes!
I started my virtual tour business just a few months ago after being laid off myself from a International Real Estate company that was not able to keep on the staff due to the poor economy and lack of sales. Regular non International MLS systems are governed by private entities, and the rules are set by those entities with no state or federal oversight, beyond any individual state rules regarding real estate. MLS systems set their own rules for membership, access, and sharing of information, but are subject to nationwide rules laid down by NAR. Our International MLS requires only that you order a virtual tour from an RTV virtual tour provider and that RTV provider publishes your virtual tour to our system.
An MLS may be owned and operated by a real estate company, a county or regional real estate Board of Realtors or Association of Realtors, or by a trade association but in the case of the RTV International MLS system this is owned by all who decide to order a virtual tour. Membership for the RTV International MLS is non existent and you will find that to be inserted into our national portal you need only to order a virtual tour from one of our many hundreds of full service providers around the World.
Most MLS systems restrict membership and access to real estate brokers (and their agents) who are appropriately licensed by the state (or province) however our International MLS system is open to anyone with an Internet connection.
If you are a person selling his/her own property - acting as a For Sale By Owner (or FSBO) you will still be able to take advantage of our Open MLS system.
