Staging Kitchens With The RTV Virtual Staging Software

Staging Kitchens With The RTV Virtual Staging Software

Virtual Staged KitchenThis week’s virtual staging tip deals with treating vacant kitchens.

As a real estate virtual tour photographer, I will often make suggestions prior to the shoot to the home owner or agent. For kitchens I suggest removing towels, most small appliances, knives and replace with contrasting colorful fruit. A bowl of fruits and vegetables can look great! Like many photographers, I provide a staging list prior to the shoot.

For the best look, virtually stage the way you normally recommend staging to agents or home owners.

Many photographers don’t touch staging in a house but for those of you that rearrange kitchens how do you handle staging? Often 5 minutes of minimizing in a kitchen makes a huge difference. Some agents keep a few staging supplies in their car such as fruit bowls.

Virtually stage primary rooms for a polished look: living, dining, master, bedrooms, kitchens and outdoor areas. The RTV stager has added several fires available for fireplaces that may give an extra pop. Generally, after I stage a living area I like to take 5 minutes in Photoshop to add a fire and TV image.

The RTV Virtual Stager now has over 2,000 staging items in the library, Look under kitchens to find perfect staging items. If you have issues with getting items to sit properly on counters you can use the re-calibrate button and change the ceiling height. Training blogs will be available weekly as well as webinar training. There is also help and training directly on the RTV staging platform. Just visit the “?” for helpful tips.
