Virtual Tour Video Add On

Are you looking for new products you can add to your marketing repertoire? Green screen video is a great way to increase your service offering, and the best part is, you likely have most of the equipment to produce full HD video already. Realtors and business owners love the level of professionalism a custom video adds to their virtual tours, websites and social media profiles. Once the initial recording is done, the video clip can be superimposed over photos of any listing creating a repeating revenue opportunity for your business.

Meg Paxton and Josh Beechraft of BlueLaVaMedia join Derek Conrad in the fifth installment of the 2015 Virtual Tour Convention series, to discuss the equipment, software and techniques you will need to know to begin offering this unique service. Creating your own green screen videos is easier than you think. Meg and Josh share their experience in what works and what doesn’t work for creating these videos as well as how to maximize the profitability of this service.

The 2015 Convention series is part of a large library of recorded webinars covering photography techniques, equipment, marketing tools, and much more, available to Rockpointe Marketing subscribers. If you aren’t currently a member we highly suggest you consider joining. In addition to the webinars, you will also have access to powerful marketing pieces, presentations and much more that are completely customizable for your business.

We hope you enjoy this webinar, and if you choose to offer green screen video your efforts will be handsomely rewarded. Keep your eyes out for our final video of the 2015 RTV Virtual Tour Provider Convention Series coming soon!

Sincerely,

Virtual Staged KitchenThis week’s virtual staging tip deals with treating vacant kitchens.

As a real estate virtual tour photographer, I will often make suggestions prior to the shoot to the home owner or agent. For kitchens I suggest removing towels, most small appliances, knives and replace with contrasting colorful fruit. A bowl of fruits and vegetables can look great! Like many photographers, I provide a staging list prior to the shoot.

For the best look, virtually stage the way you normally recommend staging to agents or home owners.

Many photographers don’t touch staging in a house but for those of you that rearrange kitchens how do you handle staging? Often 5 minutes of minimizing in a kitchen makes a huge difference. Some agents keep a few staging supplies in their car such as fruit bowls.

Virtually stage primary rooms for a polished look: living, dining, master, bedrooms, kitchens and outdoor areas. The RTV stager has added several fires available for fireplaces that may give an extra pop. Generally, after I stage a living area I like to take 5 minutes in Photoshop to add a fire and TV image.

The RTV Virtual Stager now has over 2,000 staging items in the library, Look under kitchens to find perfect staging items. If you have issues with getting items to sit properly on counters you can use the re-calibrate button and change the ceiling height. Training blogs will be available weekly as well as webinar training. There is also help and training directly on the RTV staging platform. Just visit the “?” for helpful tips.

Go ahead and create your best staging job to submit here:

Thank you for your time!

Sincerely,

Lightroom is one of the most powerful tools in a virtual tour photographer’s bag of tricks. The question is are you getting the most out of Lightroom?

Beth Nixon, RTV’s Lead Digital Imaging Specialist taught this informative class at our 2015 virtual tour provider convention in Orlando, Florida. From the feedback, we have heard she did a great job. We can’t speak highly enough about Beth’s photo editing skills. Her title is well earned, and she is a wealth of knowledge.

We have recreated the class she taught at the virtual tour provider convention into this informative webinar available for all RTV RPM members. You will learn powerful ways to create collections and use keywords to help organize your files. She also shares her workflow as she works through the development module within Lightroom all the way to the finishing touches in Photoshop. There is something to learn from this class whether you are new to the Adobe photography suite or a long time user.

If you aren’t a RPM member yet we hope you will consider joining. There are countless hours of classes covering professional photography, virtual tour photography, post processing to marketing and much more. You will also have access to a large collection of virtual tour related marketing materials you are welcome to download and customize for your own virtual tour business.

As always we hope you enjoy this webinar. If you have suggestions for future classes or would be interested in co-hosting a show please let us know.  We’ll be posting the 2015 RTV Convention Green Screen class here real soon so make sure you’re on the lookout for that show!!

Finally, Please keep an eye out for our up and coming Tour Track 2016 webinar that we have teed up for next week.

Thank you again for all you do!
